SC679j is a powerful, quiet and easy to use vacvume. Pay particular attention to the band, if installed improperly (like mine was from the vender) it will burn out quickly. Good news, bands are cheap and easy to replace! Air quality is decent. Cord length is typical. Avaliability of replacement parts is a plus! Hints at longevity.. The description says no assembly required, but it is in a few pieces. The instructions were missing so it was a little bit of a puzzle but I finally got it. Wouldn't buy anything differant
I have used these vacuums before in a commercial environment and seen them take a beating. I got tired of buying a bunch of cheap plastic made vacuums and having to replace them often, they all seem to lose suction in no time also. These vacuums are solid and are heavy duty enough to handle any household need. I don't think I will having to buy another vacuum for awhile. This is also a great price for a product this durable.
