I’m really impressed by this lens. It’s a great value for the cost. While perhaps not as fast as newer models I’ve used it already for indoor sports and this lens has exceeded my expectations for sharpness, color, and AF speed. It is, however, really solid - as in heavy. My only complaint is the lack of a natural place for a tripod collar.

Just shot the lens on a D850 vs a Tamron 70-200 G2, and again with a 2X TC on each, pictures are indistinguishable.
