Nice collection of old Nancy Drew movies.
Nice old Nancy Drew movies. Mastered quite well for how old they are. These movies are old black and white ones so they might not appeal to younger people. But for a connoisseur of older movies, they are terrific. The stories don't really follow the books too closely, but, in the case of these films, that's not a bad thing. Very enjoyable!
I enjoy black and white detective stories of all types and Nancy Drew is no exception. I admit that you have to put yourself into a mindset that accepts a simpler world when you watch these older films. I then enjoy these films very much. The quality of the picture is great and the stories are fun to watch. Remembering watching these films on TV when I was a child adds to the pleasure. Exciting adventures with great actors
These two movies are so good! Enjoyed watching them very much. Never a dull moment. They couldn't have picked a better actress to play Nancy Drew. She is not like the serious Nancy Drew in the books. All of the actors are great. It was so refreshing to watch. Both are good stories. Enjoyed looking at the clothes they wore back in 1938 and 1939, and the cars they drove too.
