Interiors - EXCELLENT FILM - POOR VIDEO TRANSFER BY TWILIGHT TIME
I have seen "Interiors" several times and was thrilled to see Twilight Time had released a bluray copy. As it is with so many things on eBay I believed I was purchasing a new copy not a new one. When I went back and read the ad it did state it was a used in good condition so that is my fault for not paying closer attention. That is one of the cons of purchasing on eBay you have to be careful and read descriptions twice to ensure you are buying exactly what you are looking for. For less than $5 more I could have received a NEW copy. Two things stood out with the Blu-ray itself: 1) The disc had not been cleaned and was covered in smudges of oil, fingerprints and whatever but it did play without any interruption after a thorough cleaning. 2) I was not happy with the video transfer by Twilight Time. I have a 4K UHD TV and 4K UHD Blu-ray player and several of the less brightly lit scenes were grainy and looked more like a bad homemade DVD ripped copy than what you'd expect from Blu-ray. Most regular DVD's appear better using my system than this issue by Twilight I can only hope when I watch the Twilight Time versions of "Julia" and "Comes a Horseman" there is a vast improvement in the video transfer as I already own DVD copies of both of them purchased on eBay.
