Small, compact Frigidaire refrigerator Water Filter
This is an easy to install and efficient water filter for an older Frigidaire refrigerator. The included different faceplates allow for different styles of filter openings. Stick to the name brand....
Not overly impressed with these filters to be honest. Have only used the actual name brand filters until now without an issue. These are supposed to be the duplicate of the brand name filters, but with a better price. I figured I’d give them a try. Now I regret having bought three. They do not fit quite the same as the brand name ones and the water pressure from the water dispenser is now weaker as well.

Appears to be same as OEM in function.
Functional equivalent to OEM as far as we can tell. The original front facing plate does not fit bit a plate that was a almost a match to the original is included. Would have liked to use the OEM as it fit perfectly but the original filters are impossible to find now and are old and expensive when found. I bought two of these new filters. The ice & water is clean and clear after the charcoal dust runs out after 1-2 quarts or so of water which can safely be used for houseplants etc.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the job
One third the cost of OEM filter. Faceplate (2 types supplied) slightly off-color from original. Could not insert without excessive force but swapped 4 O-rings with old filter and was ale to insert with a slight bump of my fist. I had the same problem with my previous non-OEM filter so maybe the problem is limited to my 2003 Frigidaire. Flushed it out easily and seems to be working fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

At first pass - good value, good product
Proper fit, water is crystal clear. It took running more water through than instructions indicated would be necessary in order to clear the water of charcoal residue and also to clear air in the flow, but from then on the water is very clear and taste is very clean. Initial cleaning process produced quite a bit of charcoal sediment - definitely more than my OEM filters, but once cleared, it has stayed that way. 5 minute job!
Snap out the old and put in the new! Just pull on the lip of the old filter and pull it straight out forward. Then configure the face plate on the new filter to look like the filter you just removed and push it back in! No need to turn the water off or unplug the power or call a serviceman. A simple 5 minute job! Don't forget to run a gallon or so of water through it to flush out the loose carbon in the new filter!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I had assumed that this filter would be a cheap knock off of some sort. I am glad that I was wrong, this filter is 100% factory original sealed in plastic and still sealed inside a factory box. Replacement water filters
They arrived before scheduled arrival date...that was great! However, the product doesn't fit my Kenmore/Frigidaire refrigerator. I tried several times to try these and for some reason they are off just enough to prevent them from securing getting to the point of being secured.
