I Think HP has fixed my printer so it will only accept HP ink but still refuses to help me.
I bought both non HP brand ink Cartridges and HP ink Cartridges and i could not get any of them to work. I called HP support several times but they would not help me and eventually said i needed to buy a new printer. I just bought new in Nov 2021 and after running out of ink I never could get my printer to work or accept the inks that i bought. I have spent over $300 on HP ink and still no printer. Works fine
For what genuine HP cartridges cost, I figured that this would be worth a try. Thanks to the video and instructions, I had no trouble with the installation. I did not have to clean the print head, but I mostly do b&w office printing. After installation, HP gives a warning about using other ink and that my discount has been forfeited. Installed all color. Black is still unused. Happy with results so far. Not particularly happy with the HP Printer since it REQUIRED me to replace all color cartridges at once. Thanks to the more or less reasonable price (compared to buying from the local Office Deport, etc) of these cartridges, it makes it a little less of $$$ problem. Thank you. It works
The new HP 8610 is finicky. It will not accept the set up cartridges after the first time. It will not accept the refilled cartridges either. The price of the cartridges at the store is outrageous. This cartridge is not cheap, but it works, I have used it for a few days and did not get a single negative message on my printer. That is remarkable.
