Cordless chainsaw ideal for light duty clean ups
Purchased the Skill CS4555-10 cordless chainsaw to supplement my gas chainsaw. I'll use it for light duty clean up after storms. Being battery powered there's no need to mess with gas, air filters or carb adjustments. It has an automatic chain oiler and a see-thru tank to check oil contents. The chain tension adjustment is handy in that no tools are needed. I used the saw to cut up a twelve inch Ash tree that was down and it exceeded my expectations. That said it does not cut as fast as a gas powered saw nor was it expected to do so. Battery life is about twenty minutes of serious cutting. It fully recharges in under an hour.
