A great Van Halen release that should've got more attention with Gary Cherone on vocals.
I bought this on cassette when it first came out and just bought it on cd after all these years. I still to this day cannot understand why this release didn't get the attention or recognition it might much deserved in the year and years following. On the other there is some that wanted Roth or Hagar, me too. I can't deny as well. But Cherone was a great choice too and he fit like a glove on this Van Halen release rock solid. The riffs, drums, and bass lines was all there. I know I am rambling but people just need to buy this release or go back and listen to it again. I was hoping to find a hidden gem. Instead I found a nightmare. The songs are very forgettable. Nothing like the old Van Halen like Jump and Panama and Running with the devil.
