Wouldn't buy again
I purchased these to replace a set of 3 that had started to wear down. First off, the set I received came with red rubber? handles. As soon as I opened, the smell of gas/oil was very strong. When I used the tools, my hands would smell too. I cut the handles off and trashed them which removed the smell. But my biggest problem with these is that they work as well as my set of 3 which I had been using for quite awhile and showing wear. I use these primarily to file down some rough cut edges on metal tube beads. These do not have enough grit to do the job properly.

These are great files but the first set I bought one of the files in the set was shaped like a knife blade and I cant seem to find a set with that shape of file in it.it was my go to file most of the time.

these files are good enough to let you know what to look for in a good set of files. For the price, they ain't bad, but don't expect much - get what you pay for! I wouldn't suggest them to a friend, but for any other yo-yo, go ahead, they're cheap!

Good for light use
This set would be good for soft metals and wood. I guess you could use it on small metal parts, without using too much pressure. I used a couple of the files and after use, the files became somewhat dull. The price is good, it may pay to invest in a few sets, if you plan on using them often.
