All parts of kit work together to stop rust on a 2x2 foot area.
I've used POR for years. I always have good results, but no matter how careful I am I have it on my arms for days. This kit has it all: gloves, brushes, and the right chemicals. This kit covers an area about the size of a car rim. I used half of the container for covering rusty areas on fenders before I mounted fender flares. Always buy the smallest container possible with POR. I have had poor luck with storing unused portions. It turns hard in the can. When properly applied, POR puts a stop to rust. Painting over POR is simple. Just spray a little primer on the POR before it dries.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

When you open the can of top coat, make sure not to spill the liquid around the edges of the can top as this will make it almost impossible to get the top off the 2nd time that you need to use it.
