Toyota Quality - Consistently!
The plastic ring built into the ignition key for my 1996 Toyota Rav-4 finally broke after 25 years. The replacement key blank was as good or better as the original. It is solid and robust. I took it to my local Toyota dealer in Daly City, California and they cut the new key for free! I recommend taking these key blanks to your local Toyota Dealer to get them cut as they use a key code based on your car's VIN so they don't need to use the original key as a guide. This is much better as you will have a key that is exactly like the original key and not one copied from the worn out pattern on the old key.
