  • Polished Pot

I was attracted to the design of the handle. Careful, it can get HOT! The fit and finish of the Cuisinox is beautiful, first class, and very polished. Both parts are substantial. It works on an induction range as well as all other types. With gas, it takes a good 10-12 minutes to brew a full pot. There is a peculiar strainer that comes with it. It effectively raises the bottom of the coffee grounds cup, if you want to use less grounds for regular strength coffee instead of espresso. The strainer is intended be supported by a groove around the side of the grounds cup, but the groove is not large enough to keep the strainer from wobbling and spilling grounds into the grounds cup anyway. It does seem to keep grounds from getting into the water in the bottom of the pot. The strainer is inserted with the handle (the little nubbin) aiming up. All in all, I'm glad I bought this espresso maker...it makes a great cup of coffee. ENJOY!
