Exactly as I was hoping. The latch is very well made and felt OEM. It's very easy to replace on my 2005 Toyota Solara. There's one key advice I have to share, You need to break the 4 tabs on the old latch to get your lock out. I watched so many videos on how to remove it but nothing came up to what was i was dealing with. There's 4 tabs that lock the lock into place and once they're disabled then you can push the lock out. Once the lock is removed from the old latch, this latch is keyed perfectly so the lock slides right in and clicks into place. You need the lock with this latch for it to work. If you don't have the lock then it won't work at all. It's an easy swap.
