Samsung makes great quality products. This old player works fine for me.
I like collecting the old products that are now obsolete, or at least hard to acquire now a days. I hunt for VHS cassetts at yard sales and such. This old samsung works great. The quality of the video is a bit grainy, but that was the technology for the era. I am now looking for vintage pre 1940 am radio.
