Never Thought I Needed This
I looked at this accessory a number of times before I decided to make the purchase. However, now I'm glad I made the purchase because its handle and angle makes using most of the accessories easier to use. The red collar rotates to uncover a rectangular hole so that the suction can be controlled. For example, when I'm using my 6.5 peak hp Shop Vac to vacuum the basement tile floor, the tool I use has the tendency to stick to the floor. Makes cleaning up much easier.
I have to do my sawing and routing woodworking on my patio because of no room in the garage. The dust collector gets a lot but not all so there is always cleanup. This has significantly eased my cleanup of stray sawdust by allowing me to turn my dust collector into a shop vacuum. Can use all the standard tools with ease. See attached photo.
