Works for the immune system.
I have been taking these once a day(per the directions) for 2 months. Then a family member got the flu, I still caught the flu from them but it was just moderate body aches and a cough and congestion. I decided to up the dosage to 4 pills a day during the flu symptoms. It was for 2 days that I took 4000 mg a day. It resulted that I hardly ever got a fever and I did not get a cold suring this weak flu. In the past when I got the flu, it was severe. Best Vitamin C immune health product on the market. Costs a bit more, worth it. We rarely get colds and when we have this diminishes symptoms and misery, even in winter. Also, the healing of minor scrapes and wounds is greatly improved by Ester C. Of course this is strictly my opinion, ymmv.
