Injured Ferret survived because of this food.
I have 2 Ferrets and one suffered a spine injury and now has paresis (can barely move rear feet and legs and only has some control over bladder and bowels. ) She loves this food and it completely sustains her. My other Ferret has developed a digestive issue and he is reluctant to eat this yet. Previously I tried to get both of them to eat Duck soup and they hated that. So this is definitely more tasty to them. My male is more reluctant, but I was able to mix some with water and put spoonfuls on his dried food where it dried into clumps with his regular food. He has been eating that. So, I suspect with some ferrets it make take time to adjust to the taste. My female loved it right away... Ferret loves it!
I haven't had to use this product recently. I ordered this as a just in case type deal since I have a ferret with juvenile lymphoma. She went through a spell when she had first started showing signs of not feeling well where she would not touch hard or softened food. This product kept her alive (for an entire month), which was long enough to find a knowledgeable vet to perform a splenectomy. Carnivore keeps my best friend alive.. Without it I would have lost emotional support animal and best friend.
My ferret named Fanto. Is a story to be told ( and in the process) a fighter, and my emotional support /therapy animal. I tried getting pet insurance when he was 3. I was denied and told he is considered halfway through his life. Fanto and I are both chronically ill. He has adrenal gland disease, cancer over 80% of his body, degenerative joint disease in hind legs( Couldnt walk) got him a wheelchair..but then he went blind. He is anemic, insulinoma(low blood sugar), cancerous masses in abdomen , enlarged spleen with nodules(cancer), cystadenocarcinoma cystic liver(cancer) chronic kidney disease, pancreatic masses ,Pulmonary lung nodules(cancer) and more. Fanto will be 7 and half next month. This formula is how he gets all he needs and I feed him with a syringe every 3 hrs. DAY& NIGHT. He use to have problems keeping weight and had he lost anymore, He wouldn't of made it. It was carnivore that got his weight up and him! The food ingredients give him the nutrients, and all he demands to have in his condition. Hes on hospice care and his vet continues to say how incredible he is doing even with his long list of serious health issues. Since he's blind he can't find food, and because he's picky ...once he had a taste of carnivore..he will accept nothing else lol. The product is expensive for me due to having to order 3 -340gram bags a month for Fanto and lowest price found is $26.89. He's been on it now for over 2 yrs. Without pet insurance im paying all out of pocket myseld. ( +5 medications , vet apt every 2 wks, etc etc * price - food- $80 meds - $179 vets-$150 * only cost of apt itself (not including tests/xrays/utlra/chemo etc) + $ 100(Baby wipes wee wee pads etc) I would spend every dime I have on Fanto. Due to my serious health issues im bed ridden so we are together 24/7 and he does go with me everywhere . I know carnivore care was designed to help weak/ill animals esp after surgeries and help recovery ...but this is the best stuff you can get if your in a situation like me or have a sick pet who has trouble eating .. I highly recommend . Thank you to all who have helped with making this product come to be. Without it I would be without the the one thing thay means the world to me

Carnivore care is a wonderful product especially when you have small animals that are not wanting to eat on their own and they need to gain weight and try to regain their health.
