I had heard of these scissors and expected them to be really expensive. What a surprise to find them affordable. My passion is sewing for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child, and there is a lot of cutting involved with making dresses, shorts, tote bags, stuffed toys, etc. These scissors are super sharp and easy to handle, making it possible at times to cut multiple layers of lighter weight fabric. Gingher scissors
Ginghers are good quality scissors. This particular shear is very light weight and can not cut through heavy layers of fabric without difficulty. If you are using them for cutting through cotton material and pattern, they work fine. Nothing heavier. The scissors are inexpensive and therefore are not as impressive as their heavier models.
