I LOVE this knife.
This is my first "really good knife", came out of the box with a seriously sharp edge and then I went to Gary's Knife Sharpening in LA who made it even sharper. This piece is heavy, very well made, solid and I expect it to last forever. The sheath is great, very sturdy with lots of options for carry or mounting to molle or however you want to transport it. The black coating is scratched a little now that I've been using it to chop, dig and hack for a week or so, but it only lends this sweet killing machine more character. You won't find a better price on this full sized Ka-Bar Tanto, shipping took about three days and I am very happy with my purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

So good you'll accidentally stab yourself at least once.
Let me start by saying that I have a weird thing for knives. I don't use them, actually. I admire them as objects. I cannot stop playing with this one since I got it, and I have on two separate occasions now accidentally stabbed myself with it deep enough to draw blood. This knife is crazy sharp and it wants to draw blood. It is also beautiful to look at, sturdy, and very balanced. As of right now, it is my favorite knife. Great K-Bar tactical knife
Just all around great knives. I carried the Marine issued K-Bar when I was in the Corps. These are made to literally take a beating and still be battle ready. As the old saying goes " if that shoot don't open up wide. I've got a K-Bar by my side. When that shoot comes tumbling down, I'll be the first one to hit the ground. Ka bar 1245 is total quality
A tactical, utility, camping knife that can even do bushcraft duties. This knife is always with me on my pack for any and all outdoor duty. I do not baton with this, however you can if you need to. My choice as it weighs a little less than the USMC fighting knife and I love tanto blades.

Bad powder coating!
