So Far So Good
The flow through these s faster and stronger than what you get with the original Pur version but that raises the question of whether or not these are filtering as effectively. There is no difference in the taste of the water. I installed the first one on 1/23 so it's close to 2 months and the indicator is still flashing green. With the original Pur product the indicator would start flashing amber after about 2.5 months so we'll see how this version holds up.

I've used PuR products since 2001. After a few years of steady use, an adapter stopped doing it's job on a faucet mount filter. I called PUR directly and after answering a few questions I'm sent out a new adapter for free. I got it in 3 days and it worked perfectly. This has happened a few times through the years and each time they've stood behind their products. Plus, my water tastes good. Pur 3 Stage Faucet Filter RF-9999
I have been using these filters for the last five years, they filter my well water on my kitchen tap for about two to three months. Without a HPLC analysis one cannot truly analize it's effectinis on purification. But for my purpose it gives me clean and clear drinking water.

One of the Best Filters out there
I am very satisfied with these filters, our on tap unit came with standard filters, we decided to upgrade to these Ion filters and there is quite a difference in the clarity and lack of any taste on the water. Just the way it should be. Splurge a bit more on your health. Get the best filters possible for your own good, cheap is never better.
