The binding posts are tough and durable and so are the cases in order to last through repeated uses. It is clear that Polk put a lot of thought into the LSi9s and how they work with receivers and other speakers. Each unit has a cherry finish that works very well with natural woods, especially light ones. You can play them with the front grille on or off. Make sure you feed them with plenty of watts, ideally from a tube amp. They won't disappoint you and will perform as well as any bookshelf speakers. Polk Audio Lsi9 speakers
I love the sound quality of them. One of the best Speakers I've owned. I'm a collector and have listened to numerous Speakers. These are one of my favorites. Great bass for their size, and detailed. If you listen to hip hop or rap, you might want a sub. Otherwise they have great bass on their own.
