Definitely not bad for its cost
Fellow Shooters, I am currently writing a preliminary review on the Tactical Holographic Reflex Red Green Dot Sight 4 Type Reticle for 20mm Rails, that I purchased. I purchased this sight for an AK type shotgun that kicks like a mule, so, once I run 100 rounds of double 00 mixed with slugs, I'll know the true facts. I actually purchased this sight simply based on 1. a reviewer had tried it on his Rem 870 and gave it 5 stars so, for the price, I decided to give this a product shot, both figuratively and literally. It zeroed in exceptionally well, this sight has both red and green colors however, I prefer the red as that is what my eyes tend to focus better with. Regardless, there are 5 brightness setting and four sight types; a simple dot, a broken circle with center dot, a cross, and a circle with a center dot with portions of the cross coming from the top, bottom, right and left of this marking. This sight is made of aluminum, the turn knobs are plastic but it actually feels like a quality piece, it has a little weight to it but is not heavy. Everything, the sight markings, are easy to read and adjust. I like what I have seen and experienced with it so far. It's not an EOtech 512 but at approximately 1/16 the price and my being rough with equipment, I felt it worth a try. Once I go to the range this upcoming weekend, I'll try tp provide a more detailed review of how it handled being tossed around by heavy brass loads. ,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great, except the QD part
Overall, I am pleased with it. The price is hard to beat. I like the ability to use either red or green dots and the dot is small enough for reasonable accuracy. I had no trouble getting it sighted in. The one problem I have had is with the mount. The machining on the quick-detach lever is off just a hair and the locking pin won’t drop into its socket, so the lever works loose over time. May be a unique situation, because I don’t see other similar comments. I am trying to decide whether to try grinding it, start over and hope that the next one works better, or just live with it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very few things wrong arguably nothing wrong with this product...
Well i must say when i purchased this item i had my doubts a price point like this for what they suggested it could perform almost sounded too good to be true but i bit the bait and bought. After purchasing i realize i received an actually really nice piece 1 MOA at 100yds true to its description this thing actually holds zero even after a beating the sights are easily visible even in direct daylight, in fact my only Con for this product is the LED is SO bright that when going from direct light to inside light conditions its almost too bright easily fixed by "on the fly" light adjustment no problem because 5 settings of brightness's are available on both green and red all in all i love this sight for the price. The sights are accurate, the battery lasts a very long time, the construction is solid,and packaging came fully stocked with foam line reusable box, cleaning cloth ,adjustment Hex wrench tool, and included battery 100% WORTH THE BUY!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great performance for the price
I've used this model of red dot sight for about 6 years now on several different rifles. They have proven to be reliable and consistent. They offer enough brightness adjustment to use in the dark and bright sunlight. They maintain the zero setting thanks to the locking screw on them. tactical Holograpic sight a great bargain
I purchased this unit to replace another I damaged in handling. The prior unit was over $60 but this little beauty did all the prior one could do at a lot more economical price. Mounted up with no issues, got it bore sighted and took it to the range and I shredded the X-ring at 100 yards. What a bargain of a sight. Fantastic buy.
What a deal! This is an identical item and less than half the price being charged at the big box sporting stores. Set it up on my Ruger Mk IV 22/45 pistol and after 5 rounds for sighting in, I was on the bulls-eye with it. Much easier to see than the stock sights and love the adjustable controls for brightness and reticle type. My only wish would be for the up/down and left/right adjustments to be on large knurled dials that don't need an allen key to adjust. Of course, that would be an entirely different product but for this design, it works exactly as advertised and will come back to buy another one (or maybe even an upgraded design - see above) when eventually this one fails - as everything does in the end.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good sight for the money
A very good red dot style sight. I've found it to hold point of aim. The very infrequent battery changes can be a little challenging with older, stiffer hands . Best for casual shooting. For serious target shooting I'd look at a higher price point. This model fits the narrower rails or grooved receivers. Not enough rounds thru it ye for a good evaluation.
What I have shot (212 rounds) it stayed where it needed to be but time will tell. Very inexpensive but that doesn't necessarily mean it's no good. Light weight aluminum body and good adjustment points. I would not buy it again account it does not fill my needs as I thought it might. I would buy it again if it was what I needed. I would not be afraid of it.
