Picked up a nice light weight, affordable camera with improved zoom capabilities for better wildlife photo's on hikes.
I have only taken a few photographs. Zoom focus will take time to get use to it. I got one great shot out of three or four taken. Mostly unsteady hand movement during focus. A tripod would eliminate the hand/camera movement. Has basic simple features we want. Would prefer a pocket camera only they do not have the zoom capability desired. Camera is light weight for it's size and easy to carry around neck or in a backpack. Have a few road trips planned and will get a better feel for usage and picture quality. Happy with purchase. ok I guess
It's slow to focus, especially in low light, but pics are ok. I much prefer a DSLR .. or at least some sort of viewfinder to look through - this "live view" stuff leads to crappy photos due to lack of focus, inability to compose properly, and lack of a sturdy base (unless you're using a tripod). If you insist on a live view - get the little Canon PowerShot SX600 HS (if you want the Canon brand). Great camera for someone that wants great shots.
Good camera, Meets amateurs needs. My wife shoots professionally and she says its a good camera for a person that wants to upgrade to a camera that has a lot to offer. She shoots with $1000.00 lenses. I brought my granddaughter and wife to shoots pictures of homes decorated with Christmas light. In my opinion I was surprised how the two camera's diid against each other. Buy one, you won't be sorry... Very happy with. it.

Camera is great, Camera case included in the package not so much!
The Camera is perfect, as were most of the products in the package. What confuses me is how I'm supposed to fit the camera I bought in the tiny case that came with it. The case is for a point and shoot camera that would be similar in size to a deck of cards.
