REVIEW OF GENERAC GP3300
I have not used the Generac GP3300 generator that I have recently purchased as yet, however, I am basing my opinion on the old generation S-4000, Model 5567-1 "Super Workhorse", the nickname I've given that unit. I had this Model for some dozen years, and supported me through some four Hurricanes. Additionally, I also supported some of my neighbors, on a shared time use of the generator, utilizing extension cords, to run their well pumps, and refrigeration. Evidently, many people have shared my opinion, and I have received multiple requests for a copy of its Owner's Manuel No.8348, as it was no longer available on the Web. In fact, this model generator was, and is, being used as a Training Aid, in the Civil Engineering Department of Purdue University. The primary interest was focused on its wiring /schematic diagram.
Based on its simplicity of design, and ruggedness/reliability was my selection of the Generac GP3300, as they appear to be very similar, with an upgrade to wheeled capability.
