Good 1440p value proposition with flaws.
An excellent value proposition for 144hz at QHD. It uses an older VA panel format so the picture quality is flat. The other problem with using a VA panel with high response time is bad trailing and blurring. There is also a huge bezel on the top, and sides. The monitor is solidly built though. Clamping it down onto a surface can be a little awkward to look at if you don't square it. The major con for me is that the ports are side plugs. Gravity tends to pull on the cables and they can get disconnected enough to interrupt your signal causing the monitor to lose picture. If I had to make a recommendation to Samsung; move the ports facing down. Overall a fair monitor for people looking to upgrade out of the 1080p age.
