Great little filter
Penn plax has been around since the 70’s I think. They’re an excellent company and they make quality products. This filter is perfect for your nano tank. I use mine in a 2.5g cookie jar. It’s small and hides easily behind a plant. It’s a strong filter which keeps my water crystal clear and odorless. It’s easy to change the cartridge. I will continue using this quality product as it does what it should, very well.

Great for 1, 2 gallon tanks or large goldfish bowls.
Have been using this filter type for years. VERY GOOD for small aquariumsize or breeding tanks. Do not put all the way to bottom --- touching gravel or it will clog with gravel. Crystal clear water
I have a small 2-gal fish tank that was always cloudy. The filter on the back of the tank does not clean this small tank. After using the small world filter cartridge, the water is crystal clear. This filter has been in the tank for over four weeks. I now have a few extra cartridges! I really don't use the back filter anymore.
