    well worth the extra couple of bucks

    best strings I've ever used. I'm a popper and a slapper and I play J & MM style basses. I use to play the stainless steel, love how they sounded but they buzzed a lot ( as steel strings tend to do when you like your action set up very low), my tech recommended the nickel set and bam !, problem solved. And frankly I think they sound better too.
