Brushless motor is surprising powerful. 2 speed Electronic selector switch with a variable speed trigger for finer control. Great tool for the money. Would also like to comment they do make the equivalent tool that uses a Makita 18V battery. The battery here is proprietary, replacements may be harder to find. Well worth the price.
