I have these custard cups before
I broke one of the 4 custard cups that I've had for years so replaced it with a new four. They are molded from thick glass. I have put very hot liquids in them, and also microwaved them many times without any bad effects. The lids fit well and can also be microwaved. When I found out the glass food storage containers are healthier for you to store your food, I purchased two sets as I make my oatmeal ahead of time and store it in these, in the freezer. Perfect size! Love them. Take one out of your freezer in the early evening and place them in your timed rice/vegetable steamer. Set it on automatic to steam in the morning.
