Works well - but one significant glitch
Works great to calm a crying baby. One potential downside is that it only runs on 15 or 30 minute intervals, after which it shuts off (requiring manual reset to turn back on). Bought the baby shusher refurbished, used three times and it does not work. Tried changing batteries and still nothing. Wanted this as a back up for the one I bought originally 3 years ago. In my opinion the babyshusher is a wonderful product. I read a lot of reviews before I purchased it. Some babies respond to shushing and some don't. Ours does, so this has proved an invaluable product. Some people complain that it requires two hands to work. While that is true, I don't feel it's a issue. I love the fact that it has a half hour and an hour timer and has a volume control because it can get quite loud. Unfortunately this product did not work for us.
Purchased this based on what I saw on Rachel Ray and some of the reviews I read about it. Hoping it would work for my grandson. I guess all babies are different, because it did not work at all for him. The product is well made, but that's about it.
