Good Quality and Price
It was delivered to me by the expected time. It's been about a few weeks since I started using it, and it worked perfectly. Definitely the battery lasts much longer (before I changed the battery to this product, it lasted less than an hour). Not as good as the original but better than all the knockoffs I have tried
I have been struggling with finding a decent replacement battery for my Galaxy S5. The "knockoffs" I have tried have been a total waste of money, lasting only a few hours on each charge despite meticulous "training" I did making sure the first few charges were complete discharges, followed by full 100% charges. My hopes were greater for this "original" Samsung battery, however, the results have also been disappointing. While noticeably better than the knockoffs, I still cannot get a full day out of a charge. I have resorted to utilizing the phone's "power saving" mode almost daily, which improves battery life, but inhibits incoming e-mail and some other apps. My guess is that the new operating system in the S5 might be eating up power, but it's hard to tell. I would be happy to purchase a "real" original battery from Samsung, but they have apparently discontinued manufacturing them. I will struggle along with this phone until my current phone lease is up next April and I can justify buying a new S7.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Was Hoping For Better, But Wasn't Surprised!
I think these batteries have been around a long time! The phone is very old, as phones go, a Galaxy S5, and these batteries are were probably made around the same time the phone was. Their ability to work to their fullest potential has probably come and gone. The one I got worked no better than the one it was replacing. You probably can't get ever a "fresh" battery for this phone again. So I've learned. I just carry a spare charged battery with me, and when the current battery dies, I just switch. Still working fine after many months
I read a lot about fake Samsung batteries. The only way to know 100% is to take the battery apart which I was not willing to do. However, all of the evidence I could gather points to this being the real thing. The weight of the battery was exactly the same as the old one, and it seems to hold a charge about the same as my other phone with an original battery. Great price for OEM part
Needed a new OEM battery for my S5. My original swelled up and looked dangerous, plus pushed the face off my phone. New battery cured most of this. I purchased this battery as my Galaxy S5 seemed to be going through the old one very quickly. Adding the new battery made no change. I am not saying the battery is no good, I am only saying it did not fix my problem. It's okay, for the price at least.
When it comes to the life of the battery, I'm not impressed at all. It charges super fast, but dies much faster than any "new" battery I've ever had. But it did ship fast (I got it a few days before the ETA), and I feel like I can't truthfully be too upset with the product since it was so cheap. It's also a definitely step up from my original fried battery that would "die" if I unplugged my phone at all. You're basically getting what you pay for. If you need a backup battery it's great, but I wouldn't suggest it for a main battery unless you plan on having a portable charger, or plan on being glued to an outlet.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Must be old stock
Expecting performance along the lines of the original battery delivered with the phone as purchased, yielded major disappointment. Though supposedly brand new, OEM quality it must have been OEM in the sense as original date of manufacture relevant to the first offering for US sales. It is no better than my current 2 year old unit. Do not buy this product expecting anything better than what you are replacing. Good S5 battery
I was looking for a replacement for my dying original battery in my old S5. If you read the reviews of these things, it seems you never know what you'll get. This does seem like a genuine Samsung battery by the label, but who knows? It does work a lot better than the one it replaced. On a 1 to 10 scale for life under typical use, I'd say the old one was a 3, and this is a 7, so I'll give 4 stars. May look like OEM but doesn't perform liike OEM
The title says it all. I've used a real OEM battery in my S5 and I generally get 2+ days from it before it needs a recharge. This unit is good for 1+ to 2 days, but not beyond 2, so calling it an OEM battery is a bit misleading. It looks like one but doesn't perform as well.
