Bright, durable, and Snap-On quality
Very bright work lamp. The best feature is it doesn't have fragile, breakable bulbs or ampules. It is great for working in enclosed spaces or attics and un-air conditioned spaces during hot weather, as it does not heat the work area up like quartz or incandescent lights. I used it first as an indoor "somebody's home" light source for over seven months daily from dusk until dawn, while I worked on my parent's empty home. Thought it would have gotten dimmer or worn out - no such luck. Durability is amazing. My first one got dropped from a rooftop to the ground (hard packed soil and weeds, about 11 feet) and survived. I just bought my second one as a backup (in case I work with any more careless people) - but I'll just save it until something happens to my first one. This has to be the most awesome LED portable lite ever. It does use 1 LED but many. I can power it off my pick up as its only 25 watts. thru an inverter that cost 20 bucks. It can lite a 30 x 50 foot area well enough to find a golf ball in your yard easily. I ordered 2 and wanted to return 1 untill i got it. VERY handy working on my truck in the garage. Super brite and compact
I am a professional shop mechanic, I also do mobile repairs after hours. I have dozens of flashlights and work lights to aid in working at night. After buying this Snap-On LED work light, I am finally seeing the light. This thing is as bright as the sun. About the same facial dimensions as a typical Halogen work light, but much thinner. Nice compact stand that is adjustable. Lightweight, and puts out very little heat. Only 25 watts, I will be using this with a power inverter and jumpstart power pack. I was using it yesterday during the day, and am amazed that it fills in the shadows while working in the engine compartment under the glaring sun.
