This is not remanufactured- It was a worn repainted used electric motor - SEE PHOTOS
This is not a remanufactured product. When I attempted to install this on my vehicle (1971 Mach 1 Mustang), I discovered that the shaft bolt that connects to the wiper arm mechanism was stripped beyond use. As such, I took motor gear box shaft assembly off my old wiper motor and put it on the new one. When completing this task, I was able to look at the electric motors interior parts. What I discovered was nothing at ALL was refurbished. The brushes were old and extremely worn (worse than my old motor) and the shaft area where the brushes contact was also extremely worn and scoured. This wiper motor was obviosly taken off a salvaged vehicle and repainted with semi gloss black paint....It was not remanufactured and I was totall ripped off. I am sharing my experience so others wont have the same. God Bless.
