I purchased a used 2005 Stratus and made an appointment at a dealer to check a few things. On the list was a bad front motor mount. Instead of waiting for the dealer to replace it, I replaced it myself. The dealer fixed the other problems and gave an "OK" to the motor mount. I also found an easy way to remove and install it. After you unscrew all the bolts, you will discover that it will take time to find a path out for the mount. However if you use a scissor jack to enlarge the spacing between the bumper and the engine block, this job will only take you half an hour. Be careful not to position the scissor jack in a way that would damage the wires connected to the front oxygen sensor. The top of some scissor jacks have a bent metal piece with a channel in the middle that will embrace the metal part of the bumper. The base of the jack should rest on the solid metal post pointing down in front of the oil pan on the driver's side. As you know the engine has to be lifted with another jack pushing on a piece of wood making contact with the oil pan. If I post a video about the repair you will find it on my YouTube channel: "generatorblue generator blues" channel. If you watch other videos about this job, you will appreciate the use of the scissor jack that I suggested.
