I bought this set quite a few years ago, the original set is still going strong. I have had to replace the batteries in both handsets but I have to say I love Panasonic's phones. This set is opened, but nothing has been used in the box and only the hand sets have been pulled out.

Fantastic!
Very customizable, wider range of levels. Ringer can turn down or off. Can set night mode times for ME, not when they want. Sound is very clear. Can put handset on charger all day with no problem to battery. Can keep second handset for a spare & base can be used in a power failure. Has a spot for the "old" smaller headset plug. Bought this to replace a broken handset but can use the other pieces as they die out. Tried other phones, but this is far superior. Bought the original in 1995 & has worked for 20 yrs! That says something about this phone!
