Product Information
In Nocturne you play a member of a top secret government organization of the 1930s referred to as Spookhouse. This organization is devoted to the investigation of supernatural crimes and phenomena.<br><br>Your protagonist character is known only as "The Stranger," a mysterious man, seemingly with no past. His travels for Spookhouse take him across the globe, from Germany to Texas. The game itself is divided into four separate acts, each with its own story, spanning from 1927 to 1935. <br><br>A number of weapons are at The Stranger's disposal. While he never leaves home without his twin .45 pistols, he'll also come across shotguns, flame throwers, tommy guns, and even a cross bow. Not to mention a host of explosives, melee weapons, and even good ol' fashioned monster killers like a cross or stake.<br><br>Prepare yourself for Nocturne. This is a true PC gaming diamond in the rough.
One of my personal favorites of the late 90's PC gaming scene. It takes the Resident Evil formula and applies it to a Film Noir setting. The writing and characters are great and the episodic gameplay is really engaging. Does not seem to be compatible with Windows 11
This is not the fault of the seller at all. I paid a great price and this is a lost gem of a game. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work with my PC. The wizard starts up normally and prompts you to begin installation then immediately crashes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
