This Rockford Fosgate 2-way speaker has an ICC that rejects the need of the black boxes for mounting. Featuring the peak power handling of 120 watts, this Rockford Fosgate car speaker produces great sound. The Mineral-filled & polypropylene injection molded cone of the Rockford Fosgate P1572 provides rich, powerful bass. Thanks to the Butyl Rubber Surround, this Rockford Fosgate car speaker is highly durable. Furthermore, this Rockford Fosgate 2-way speaker also has PEI dome tweeter that reproduces clear high-frequency sounds. Other features of the Rockford Fosgate P1572 are Multi-OEM Adapter, frequency response of 75Hz-22kHz, nominal impedance of 4-Ohms, and many more.

Great budget speakers
These are nice speakers with great sound quality once you have them installed correctly. For the price they can't be beat. The plastic cones make them somewhat water-resistant. Not water-proof, but resistant enough to the occasional splash, where paper speakers would get damaged easily.

Great sound for the price
These speakers are really loud when powered by an amp..my first upgrade from stock speakers in front doors or 96 Ford explorer I'm not the best judge ..I also dropped the 6x8 3 ways in the back doors ..they sounded good.. But when I added a 600 watt four channel amp and a subwoofer they sound incredible I can really blast em with no distortion at all..if you get distortion with these you aint giving them enough power..I got about 75 watts going to each and its plenty..
