Elizabeth Taylor and Elizabeth Arden shared more than a first name; they also shared a vision of versatile, pleasant perfumes for modern women. Released in 1987, Forever Elizabeth by Elizabeth Taylor for women can be considered the first celebrity perfume. It started a trend that caught on so well that, today, women everywhere spray perfumes named after celebrity women. The two women concocted a trendsetting scent, a designer perfume that set a precedent for decades of designer perfumes. The top notes of Elizabeth Taylor Forever Elizabeth Eau de Parfum spray for women are green notes and fruit fragrances, namely blackberry, apple, and Italian mandarin.
