The BOSS SYB-5 is a next-generation bass-synth guitar effect pedal that uses the latest DSP technology to reproduce fat and sharp sound that characterizes classic analog synthesizers. This easy-to-use BOSS guitar pedal has four knobs in all, two with dual concentric potentiometers, which offer an unlimited range of sound. The BOSS SYB-5 applies effects to these sounds through eleven varied modes of saw, sine, square and w. shape waves which can be controlled with knobs for decay rate, blending and freq/res. I spent 2 hours just messing around with 2 of the different effects on this beast.. and there is way more to go! The bottom end is a little weaker but not much, still punches through.
