Best bang for the bucks for this category of scope. It seems to be everything you need and nothing you don't want.
The scope is a little overkill for use on a 22 Hornet rifle, but I like it for the price and the Vortex brand. For a 2FP scope it is easy to get used to. Nice clicks on the turrets that are easy to feel. The reset to zero function is a must have feature for any serious shooting past the zero set range (usually 100 yards.) Great scope for any price point.
Love the diamondback scope from vortex. Have two of these actually. The glass is as clear as any I have used. And I have used Nikon and Zeiss. Hard to beat head to head with any other. Get caught in the Vortex!
I now own three of these SOLID Diamondback riflescopes. 2 with the BDC, one with the plex. Before I bought the third I wanted to venture off and see what else was out there. Looked at the comparable Nikon, LPold VX-2 in the local stores. The Diamondback is about 2 ounces heavier but about an inch shorter. The extra heft is because the Vortex is built like a tank. Great scope for the buck
This scope is excellent I have one on my 270 and my 7mm Magnum and I've had the leapold and Nixon prostaff and I would still take the diamond back any day. It did come with cracked scope covers and with out even verifying a purchase vortex just asked which one I had and sent me new ones in a couple days.
