Good alternative to the name brand

Does not work with Android

GREAT PRODUCT FOR A GREAT VALUE
I LOVE this product. I will warn you it was a bit tricky to set up, even with the instructions. BUT if you call the help number they are in fact VERY helpful and they get to you very quickly. We called two times once because the heat was coming on instead of the AC (it was a simple fix in the setup of the type of AC system) and the other because we had trouble hooking up both our iPhones up to it (the first phone was easy, the second phone was also easy just not the same way as the first setup). Good for simple applications
This product is good for a simple smart home application. Their remote access is in beta stage and isn't always reliable. Their tech support is good, but took multiple exchanges to remedy the issue. The thermostat was easy to install, the documentation was clear and understandable. Pro, works well, controls are easy to understand and can be remote programmed with home kit or controlled by an iPhone. Not worth the money, time or frustration.

Be sure you have a 5-wire system
My ac/heater has only 4 wires. It does not have the C wire. So the idevice thermostat could not be powered up. I ended up buying a 7-day Honeywell thermostat to get my ac/heater going. I'm sure the idevice would have worked only if my system has the C wire. The price seems to be fair for being siri and alexa compatible.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
