Porter Cable Belts
If you're anything like me, you'll just lose the second belt unless you have two sanders with broken belts, or depend on the sander to keep running just in case a new one breaks. Buy one, not 2. Best description of the belt is a "large o-ring". See quotes for my second recommendation to save yourself some money. Great replacement
Bought this to replace the broken original clutch belt on my close to 20 year old Porter-Cable 5" Quicksand 333. This belt seems to be the same size as the original, and the polymer it's made of seems similar. The overall quality of the belt seems fine. Replaced existing belt that hardened and broke. These replacements fit fine and function as intended. Time will tell as to their longevity. They came as a 2-pack. You only use 1 at a time. Seem to work fine.
These belts are black, not clear like the OEM belt. THis is shown in one of the pictures in the listing. I think these belts are a similar material to the OEM pelt (polyurethane?). They seem to "slip" a little more than the originals - my pad does seem to rotate slowly with these - more so than the original belts. Could be because of wear on my sander, though.
