Walker Game Ear XCEL 100 Digital earmuffs
I've bought several different electronic earmuffs through the years only to discover they quit working after a few uses and the ear foam won't stick to the muffs anymore or they have to be replaced. These earmuffs came with bad batteries so I thought they were defective from the box however after purchasing new batteries they work great. The instructions should state you have to hold the power button for a few seconds to work correctly but these earmuffs are without a doubt the best I've owned and an outside the earmuff battery compartment is the best idea yet...it's about time for this feature! The only complaint I have is the sound could be higher since someone of us have to wear earrings aids and need more ammplication. Another thought; they could be narrower for wider rifle stocks or people who like the lowest scope mounts to limit scope to bore parralaring or better accuracy...just a thought. With that said, what a great electronic earmuff. The best electric earmuffs so far. Can't wait to see the company's next generation of earmuffs. A really good pair of ear muffs for the price
I enjoy these ear muffs at the clay shooting range with my Beretta Silver Pigeon. The fact that the controls are located on the headband means that the cups' structure and noise protection is not compromised. This model has just two microphones (one may be misled by the pictures, since the headband is shared between this model and the next one which has 4 microphones), but still provides enough guidance on the direction of the sound (where it comes from).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
