I bought these to cut tree roots so I could pull out the stumps. They only last slightly longer (not even 50%) than the Freud Diablo non carbide blades I was using. The Milwaukee blades seem to heat up extremely fast, causing the sawdust to burn and make the blade stick in the wood. After every 30 seconds of cutting I have to stop and clean out the hard packed burnt on dust to keep the blade cutting. And they have the same issues when trimming the small(2-4 inch diameter) limbs. They may work better for dry pine lumber, but they definitely arnt worth the extra $ if your cutting green hardwood or roots.
