If you just need to cover your yard, you don't need this.
The build quality is professional. It is heavy and solid feeling. The menu is easy to use. The antenna connector is a Type N connector which is a little strange as I have only seen that on WiFi repeaters before, but I got a converter to Coax and moved on. There is no power adapter, and the recommended one is a 12.8v 7A. Which is beyond rare. I have yet to find one. I am using a 12v 7A. It seems this limits the output to 20w. I really have no interest in looking for a bigger adapter but maybe if I see one pop up on ebay cheap I'll grab one for the novelty. This being said, you can probably buy something for half the cost with an antenna and adapter and goes to 15w. Just so you are aware.. 15w is a lot of power, and you can cover a very large area. Again, this is a super nice unit with good sound and quality. Had I known what I know now, I probably would have just got a 0.5w unit with power and antenna for about 40 dollars.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Much to be desired.
