Pretty disappointed
The product came with noticeable chips and dents around the edges. I though it would be fine but then the charger isn’t working well. I can’t use it as a portable product. It works
The Philips Hue Go Light is basically a plastic bowl of light. It works like any Philips Hue white and color bulb but incluees the fixture and the killer feature: is wireless. It can be untethered from a wall plug and used--for a VERY short time--anywhere the hub can communicate with it. The limitation is that the Go Light holds a charge only a little more than three hours. I'd like the unit to last longer without being plugged in, like the length of a decent party. The internal battery falls short of that. That said, it's a good product with decent brightness. It also works great as a bedroom light for the purpose of lighting-enhanced sleep and wake routines. The bedtime light is warm and relaxing and fades smoothly to nothing, and the morning wakeup light is bluer and crisper. I experienced this product as the best currently available for these purposes and I notice a dramatic difference in my mornings using the wakeup routine. Fun light at a great price
Had one of these Hue Go lights already, and wanted another but didn't want to pay the excessively high price. Happy to find a great deal on this refurbished one, and as far as I can tell, it's exactly the same as a brand new light. Control the color and brightness with the Hue app (though you have to own a Hue hub already to do that), and you can use it with the power adaptor or with the built-in battery. Portable. Flexible. Easy to Use.
I'm a big fan of the Philips Hue line of lighting. I have a half dozen lights that are controlled on a schedule. They are flexible, easy to use and highly configurable (if that's your pleasure). The Hue Go's were a new addition and I particularly like them for their multiple uses. We've been spending a lot of time outdoors this summer and it has been great to be able to grab these lights and use them on our back porch without plugging them in. Also, the ability to control the intensity and color of the lights make them perfect for not attracting insects.
