Renew your Quicken subscription with a new copy of Quicken sold on eBay
I've used Quicken financial software for years and a few years back they switched from a perpetual license to a subscription license. With the annual subscription model the expense can be significant compared to the perpetual model that typically lasted 3 years between upgrades. If you upgrade thru Quicken there's no discount however you can buy a copy of Quicken like this one and simply use the activation key to extend your current subscription so, in addition to being less expensive for new users, existing subscribers can save money on renewals by buying a copy like this one off of eBay..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good software with some maintenance issues.
I've been using Quicken ever since Microsoft stopped supporting MS Money, well over a decade now. It enables me to track and project my spending and savings, and track my investments. It does well at this. The budgeting functionality is insufficient, but that's primarily because of the detail I try to include in my budgets; simpler budgets should work fine in Quicken. My biggest complaint is their software reliability. Two or three times a year they release an update which causes major problems. I've developed the habit of manually taking a backup of my Quicken file every day before I launch Quicken, just so I can fall back to earlier files (months back if necessary) in case a Quicken update causes corruption in my data file.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great features to make this time of the year less stressful
. If you're throwing everything into a shoebox & waiting 'till the end of the year to sort things out, then give this software a try. You won't regret it. To boot, @ the end of the year you can print out a report on everything you've separated into categories & give them to your tax person. Love Quicken Premier
I've been using Quicken since Microsoft Money went away a long time ago. I like that it is easy to use as far as inputting my day to day banking, keeping track of my IRA's and the bill reminders have saved me late fees when our mail is late coming or delivered to the wrong house (which happens a lot anymore). I really don't use bill pay because I pay through my banking app so I can't say if that is a good feature. Reconciling my accounts has never been easier. Have been using Quicken a number of years now and I will never go back to anything else. Use is very easy once you get use to bookkeeping as any one who need financial data needs to be. I also use the Premier version so I have access online to my accounts to balance and keep track of all my transactions I do each day.
