Takes the Chill off!
I installed a rather large patio this past summer and have begun to add accessories. It became apparent that if the family, specifically my wife, was to use the patio after summer and in spring, I needed some heat to take the chill off the air. I researched patio heaters for quite some time, but one thing that I have discovered is that devices that are made for commercial applications, perform better and last longer than their residential cousins. This heater does the trick very nicely. My daughter and I put this together in about an hour taking our time and watching videos for guidance. Once the propane tank was installed, the ignition switch works flawlessly and the heater set to high put out too much heat when sitting in a close circle of about 6 feet around the unit. Turning down the heat is easy and lifting the cover to replace the propane take is not hard at all. The bronze finish looks great. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with a cover, but that was easily remedied elsewhere on E-Bay.

Great looking Patio Heater
This patio heater works really well and heats up the area nicely. It was easy to put together and looks nice. It says that it is best to add sand into the base to make it stable but I feel it is stable just with it's own weight and with the propane tank inside. The patio heater sits high at 89 inches tall and I wanted it to fit inside my Gazebo without being close to the ceiling and I also wanted it closer to me while sitting down, so I took a hack saw and cut about a foot off the pole and then drilled four holes back into the pole for mounting the top back on. It was a simple adjustment for me. I was impressed by the price and not sure how they make a profit selling such a nice item at this low price.

Harvest party!
My parents just set up a new pergola and some other updates on their patio we practically lived out there in the summer. So when it started getting chilly I got this as a gift for them.. we are still having dinners and fall get together outside now! Great Heater; Easy to Use
This is our first heater of this type. I did research on reliability of several, and this Fire Sense was always rated tops. It arrived new and was well packaged by the manufacturer. All the parts were well labeled, and it took my husband about 45 minutes to an hour to assemble it. We purchased a new tank of propane and it was easy to hook up. The instructions for lighting were clear and it lit the first time. Puts out a lot of heat when set to Medium! It does set a tiny bit crooked but I saw before I bought it that all of them seem to do that...it's not a problem. The wheels make it easy to move around the deck. The price was comparable to others that were less in cost, but had about $50 shipping added on. This had free shipping.
