Good value and start for two armies.
Japanese vs marines starter with two vehicles and 24 infantry on each side. Many extras like terrain, dice, rulebooks (2nd edition) and more. Not sure about the "durable" question but if used with care will last forever. Easy to fill out your armies with several readily available boxes.
