Overall, the Mixcast 4 is great. I have nothing to compare it to since I went from an audio interface to a podcast workstation.
I love the Mixcast 4. It does everything I need it to do and more. There IS a learning curve as you get to know the machine, but most of the controls are pretty intuitive. It has plenty of gain to drive the mics I use - Rode Procaster, Shure SM58, SM57.
Cons: The noise suppression settings arent really that fine. It is difficult to get them dialed in so that it is effective without sounding choppy.
